The Adventure Begins

Destruction laid before the young warrior as she ran, not just for her life, but for her kingdom. The faster she ran the more her legs screamed for mercy. It was a cry for mercy that she had no choice but to ignore. As she sprinted she saw it all, images that would remain in her mind for the rest of her life. Wrecked buildings that were once homes to proud families, innocent civilians crowded the streets in terror, and dead warriors with broken weapons surrounding their corpses...

The Harpy's Den

A new feeling rushed down his spine, one he wasn't used to. Fear. Just what had he seen? In all his years, he'd never spied anything so...so impossible! Was it a new species of bird? Some kind of freak of nature? Most importantly, where did they even come from and how had no one realized they were here? Taking a few deep breaths to steady himself, the man focused. He had to remember the reason he came here in the first place. He was looking for the mystery behind the vanishing hikers. A thought suddenly entered his mind that he didn't want to entertain. What if these bird-like beings were the reason the hikers had gone missing?

The Mage's Sin

An unearthly roar echoed throughout the once pristine halls of the famed academy. Bodies, both human and non-human, littered the floor, painting a horrific, bloody scene. This place, once a safe haven for those with "The Gift" had been twisted into utter chaos. A young man, possibly in his late teens, ran through the halls carrying a long staff in his right hand. Behind him he heard another loud, unholy roar. The sound sent shivers down his spine; it was the sound of some inexplicable nightmare, more terrifying than his darkest imaginings. It was the sound of whatever had been unleashed in the school.

The Dangerous Traitor

Trust is the most fragile weapon in any warrior's arsenal — and the most deadly when turned against you. In the shadowed corridors of Dragonera, where loyalties shift like smoke and old alliances crumble to ash, one soldier discovers that the greatest threat to the realm does not breathe fire or wield dark magic. It walks among them, speaks their tongue, and knows their every secret. When the betrayal is finally unmasked, the cost will be measured not in blood alone, but in everything they believed to be true.

Bane of Dragons

One year. It had been a full year since a catalytic event could have brought the modern age to an end. They avoided it, but only because of a massive battle that prevented the end. The Battle of Richmond. A destructive battle left the city in near shambles. It ruined the once lively streets from intense heat erupting from the ground, destroying homes faster than people built them. Several buildings built to last, as if to defy the laws of gravity themselves, toppled, punished for daring to reach towards the sky. But the worst of all happened to the Richmond International Airport. The runways obliterated. At least several planes lost from the destruction. Because of all the destruction, the Governor of Virginia ordered it shut down to make repairs. To the average human being, the entire catastrophe played out like a sudden violent storm. But not to Aiden Russell, his parents, and his friends. They knew the truth about what happened. Richmond's destruction came not from a sudden violent storm, but from their clash with what Aiden considered their mightiest foe yet. The Obsidian Demon.

Return of the Dragon King

Mythical creatures had always been real. Dating back to even the historic days of the American Revolution with sightings of elves, harpies, and even those who cast real magic to defend their homes. All of it, hidden away from the public eye, in order to keep them calm and not worrying so much about other beings, might, at any given time, attack. What made it more infuriating for him was the secrecy. Apparently, every single President from George Washington to his predecessor learned this information once they became president. He even received a special magic briefing. The president needed to know of their existence, and there were government agencies prepared to move in on them should the need arise. When he asked why he was not told about this information when he became President, the answer they gave him enraged him.

Something had been hidden from the very beginning — a truth so dangerous that those who discovered it were silenced before they could speak. Now, in the quiet that follows catastrophe, one soul refuses to stop asking questions. And the answers will change everything.
